October Half Term Ranger Events
Discover exciting children’s activities on Atholl Estates this October half-term. Our Ranger, Julia, has an action-packed programme during the October holidays. From Children’s events like Halloween games, wildlife crafts and making your own bird feeders.
We ask for a small cash donation in exchange for your children’s session. All proceeds go directly to The Cairngorms to help care for wildlife, maintain paths and car parks. Ensuring both our enjoyment of the outdoors and the thriving of natural habitats.

Information Centre: The Information Centre is the white building at the back of the Bridge of Tilt car park.

Make A Bird Feeder
Tuesday 14th Oct | 11am – 12pm
Information Centre
Get creative and make your very own easy-peasy bird feeder.
Best for: Age 3 and up.
Finding us: Meet Julia at the Information Centre in Blair Atholl (next door to the chippy). The car park is free and there are toilets next door to the centre.
Rock Monsters
Wednesday 15th October | 11am – 12pm
Information Centre, Blair Atholl
Paint some spooky creatures onto stones. Take home your creation to decorate your house at Halloween.
Best for: Age 5 and up.

Halloween Games

Drop-In Crafts

Join Julia our Ranger for a variety of arts and crafts.

Autumn Wildlife
Wednesday 22nd October| 11am – 12pm
Information Centre, Blair Atholl
Enjoy making crafts and playing games all with the theme of autumn wildlife such as red squirrels, bats, owls and deer.
Best for: Age 5 and up.

Please note: Children must be accompanied by an adult. A donation pot will be available at each event, and we would greatly appreciate any contribution you feel is appropriate for the session you attend.
