Blair Castle gives you the opportunity to see Scottish history through the lives of the Atholl Family. Over 19 generations, the Stewarts and Murrays of Atholl have been adventurers and politicians, Jacobites and Royalists, entrepreneurs and agriculturists, soldiers and scholars.
They have almost all, in one way or another, made their mark.

Gardens & Grounds Tour
Blair Castle is surrounded by extensive historic gardens and grounds to discover. Within the nine-acre Hercules Garden, explore a plethora of flora and fauna, with a wide range of historical sculptures nestled alongside them. The gothic Diana’s Grove features a range of exotic trees, including some of the largest of their species in the country. Hidden deep within the grove, sits St. Bride’s Kirk, where the infamous first Viscount Dundee is buried.
