This year our annual Charity Day will support both Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA) and Scotland’s Garden Scheme.
Join us for a fun, informative and no doubt, eye-opening day. The SCAA team will be present with their mascot to engage with visitors and explain what they do and why public generosity and fundraising days are so important to keeping their vital service operating.
All takings from house and gardens tickets for the day will be donated to SCAA and a donation will be made to Scotland’s Garden Scheme.
The charity, launched in 2013, aims to make life-saving emergency care accessible to everybody, no matter how remote their location in Scotland. Operating two helicopter air ambulances from bases in Perth & Aberdeen, SCAA has a crew of highly skilled and experienced paramedics and pilots, backed up with two rapid response vehicles. It works in partnership with the Scottish Ambulance Service as part of Scotland’s emergency response network, covering over 30,000 square miles. The SCAA are the nation’s only charity air ambulance service, playing a crucial role in responding to life-threatening accidents and medical emergencies across Scotland. The SCAA is entirely funded by the generosity of the Scottish public.
Scotland’s Garden Scheme is a that charity raises funds for hundreds of charities each year, powered by amazing teams of volunteers and garden owners around Scotland, through garden gate tickets, plants sales and teas. Each year a fantastic selection of Scottish gardens open their doors to raise money for charity.
