Accessible Parking – Accessible parking spaces are available close to the step free castle entrance. Please enquire with the ticket office on entry and they will direct you accordingly.
Carers – Accompanying carers are not charged an entrance fee. Please speak to a member of our team at the ticket office prior to purchasing your tickets.
Accessible Toilets – We have two sets of toilets within the castle, with our disabled unisex toilet and baby changing facilities set inside the Banvie Hall close to the accessible parking area, gift shop and restaurant.
Assistance Dogs – We welcome assistance dogs into the castle, gardens and grounds.

Due to the nature and layout of the castle and gardens some areas might not be fully accessible to everyone.
The ground floor of the castle is fully accessible, with 11 exhibition rooms and includes a 15 minute rolling video detailing the upper castle rooms, gardens and grounds.
Unfortunately, the upper floors are not accessible by wheelchair or mobility scooters. If you wish to access the upper floors it does involve climbing staircases. Please review our Access Guide that details the number of stairs involved.
The Gift Shop and Tullibardine Restaurant are on the ground floor and are fully accessible for visitors.

Coaches regularly visit Blair Castle. If you would like to avoid these busier times please call the day before your visit and we can advise a quieter time to visit.
The castle audio tour takes approximately 1 hour and the garden audio tour takes approximately 45 minutes.
Please be aware that a piper plays the bagpipes outside the castle on the hour, every hour between 11am and 3pm.
Other noises to be aware of are chiming clocks, hand dryers in the toilets and a 15 minute video rolling video that details the upper castle rooms, gardens and grounds on the ground floor of the castle.
Throughout the garden and grounds you may hear garden machinery being used.
