Situated in Tulliemet valley on an old shepherd’s hill track, our huts enjoy breathtakingly long views across Strathtay and beyond.
Our huts are luxurious and make for the perfect glamping getaway. Decorated beautifully, they offer block printed linens, hand-stitched quilts, and the comfiest king-size bedchamber. You will be glamping with a hot shower, fully fitted kitchen, electric underfloor heating, and log burning stove to keep you extra cosy in autumn and winter.
The two huts are 20m apart sitting in a meadow and surrounded by fields. There are hammocks to read in, an outdoor firepit with wooden armchairs, and sheepswool rugs.
We encourage you to explore nearby Tulliemet Moor which forms part of the Forest of Clunie SSSI, where you may spot osprey, lapwings and curlews, deer, trout, otters and – if you are lucky – our newly arrived resident beavers.
Be sure to visit Blair Castle and Gardens for a full and fun day out for all the family, included in your stay at Lapwing between April and October, during opening hours.
We’ve pulled together a list of some of our favourite things to do in the local area. Including adventure days for thrill seekers, places to eat for foodies and family day out recommendations.
Please note that there is a rough track that leads up to the cottage location and it is recommended that a 4×4 or SUV is used to gain access.
