To celebrate our first opening weekend, Blair Castle will provide the ultimate backdrop for an open-air art, craft and food market.
Organised by Exclusively Highlands, the exhibitors are all based in Scotland and reflect the high standard of craftsmanship and diversity that is produced within this country.
The full breadth of goods includes a wonderfully unique collection of jewellery, ceramics, ironwork, tweed accessories, fabulous silks and hand poured candles.
Adding to the experience, the market also brings together a variety of sumptuous food including street seafood, a superb range of cheeses, game, and confectionary, alongside and tastings from local distilleries and a local brewery.
A one-way system around the outdoor fair, generous spacing, guides and sanitising stations throughout will make this a safe and enjoyable experience for all the family within the grounds of Blair Castle.
Visit Our Latest Jacobite Exhibition
Blair Castle has been the home of the Atholl family for over seven centuries.
The castle has had a diverse history, witnessing both turbulent and peaceful times and has enlarged and adapted over 750 years.
Home to politicians, soldiers, agriculturalists and entrepreneurs, the Castle’s history is brought to life against a backdrop of fine 18th century interiors and Scottish baronial architecture found throughout the thirty rooms.
This year our new Jacobite exhibition – A Family Divided – The Atholls and The Jacobite Risings – reflects the trials and tribulations the Atholl family and Blair Castle endured during the Jacobite rebellion.

Blair Castle Gardens
Our magnificent Gardens at Blair Castle are second to none.
Laid out in the 18th century and created by James, the 2nd Duke of Atholl, they feature a nine-acre walled garden, an extensive wooded grove, a ruined kirk, a red deer park and a gothic folly.
Highland cattle and deer graze in fields close by, peacocks roam freely and native red squirrel can often be seen.
We expect this to be a wonderful day out for all. Entrance to the market is included in either a Garden or Garden and Castle entrance fee.
Please note, Castle tours are subject to availability and time of entry, so we advise pre-booking were possible.
